Brendan was admitted as an Australian Lawyer by the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2021. Upon returning to Sarawak, he completed his pupillage at a leading litigation firm in Kuching, where he gained valuable exposure under the tutelage of a senior counsel. Brendan was subsequently admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in September 2022.
Prior to joining the firm, Brendan practiced primarily in civil and criminal litigation, where he assisted in a wide range of matters including personal injury claims, negligence, commercial disputes, defamation and industrial relations cases. Throughout his practice, he has maintained a strong client-focused approach, prioritizing clear communication and the delivery of practical legal solutions.
In 2025, Brendan transitioned to the firm’s Commercial, Corporate and Conveyancing Department to pursue his longstanding passion for commercial law. His areas of practice includes, but are not limited to:
- Commercial and Corporate Law: advising on and drafting various commercial agreements, share sale agreements and settlement agreements.
- Real Estate and Conveyancing: managing property transactions including sale and purchase agreements, tenancy and lease agreements and related legal documentation.
- Banking Transactions: advising on corporate loan transactions and preparation of various loan documentation.
- Legal Drafting and Advisory: preparing a range of legal documents and providing clients with practical, strategic advice tailored to their personal and commercial needs.
- Immigration: assisting clients with various immigration applications and providing comprehensive support and guidance on local immigration procedures.
