Lim Swee Ling was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in Sarawak in 2009 after spending almost a decade in the credit administration department with a leading bank in Malaysia, overseeing the credit facilities’ applications and disbursements at branch level.

Lim Swee Ling has extensive experience and contacts in the property and banking market in Sarawak, and has acted for a number of developers, banks and international clients. She is well regarded for her expert knowledge of local property and banking laws and procedures which enables her to offer commercial and practical solutions to her clients' legal issues as well as providing clear and strategic advice when required. Her main areas of work in conveyancing and real estate transactions include residential and commercial development projects, commercial leasing, land acquisitions and disposals, and property financing consisting of retail and corporate banking. She is also experienced in advising on trust settlements, wills and probate, and providing expert advice on complex estate administration processes in Sarawak.
