Swee Ling was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Sabah & Sarawak in Sarawak in 2009 after spending almost a decade in the credit administration department with a leading bank in Malaysia, overseeing the credit facilities’ applications and facilities’ disbursements at branch level.
Swee Ling has extensive experience and contacts in the property and banking market in Sarawak, and has acted for a number of developers, banks and overseas clients. Her knowledge of the local property and banking laws and procedures enables her to offer commercial and practical solutions to problems as well as providing clear and strategic advice when required. Her main areas of work include residential and commercial sale and purchase, residential and commercial developments, land acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant, trust settlements, wills and probate, retail and corporate banking, negotiating and drafting contra and settlement agreements in a wide range of commercial transactions.
