Ong Ai-Lyn is the Managing Partner and the Head of the Commercial, Corporate & Conveyancing Department at the firm. She began her legal career at a criminal set at Lincoln’s Inn Fields in London, where she gained valuable experience and was actively involved as a volunteer with the Free Representation Unit.

Upon her admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in Sarawak in 1993, she continued to build a strong practice in litigation before eventually expanding her focus into corporate and conveyancing law. In 1997, Ong Ai-Lyn was invited to lead Goh and Partners (the predecessor to the firm) and played a pivotal role in the firm's merger with Loke, King and Company in 2002, forming Loke, King, Goh and Partners Advocates, as it is known today. Since then, Ong Ai-Lyn has proved herself to be a market-leading lawyer in Sarawak and is ranked as a leading partner in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific publication.

Ong Ai-Lyn has built a distinguished client base that includes both key local players and international corporations looking to invest and establish a meaningful business presence in the state of Sarawak. She has extensive experience in advising clients across diverse sectors and legal practice areas:

  • Conveyancing and Real Estate: works closely with developers, investors and corporate clients on a broad spectrum of property transactions including site acquisitions and disposals, property investments, development of high-end commercial developments and hotels, and residential property projects. She has also been frequently invited to speak at the Malaysian Institute of Real Estate Agents, where she shares her insights on Sarawak's land laws as part of the accreditation process for real estate negotiators.
